One of my food buddies entered my OctoberFEST Recipe Contest and she’s added some very comforting warmth to it – Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey.
Now, I’ve tried this new whiskey from JD and let me tell you, it’s very smooth with a touch of sweet. Great as an addition to burgers and chili.
Well, Sheila Christensen from San Marcos, California adds it to a Ham!! Sounds like S.C. loves some Ham and she cooks it in such a tasty way!!
She added in her entry: ” This makes an incredibly moist and flavorful ham. Easy to make, it has an enticing aroma while cooking. A wonderful addition to autumn tailgate, Halloween or Thanksgiving parties. Leftover ham makes great sandwiches, especially when served with Jack Daniel’s Mustard as a condiment. Mapled sweet potatoes and apples make a great side dish accompaniment to this hearty main dish.”
Good luck Sheila and Great Recipe!
